| Sad News from Misty River |

Dear Misty River friends, fans and family,
It is with great sadness that we share the following news with you. One of our band members, Carol Harley, has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. This is a life-threatening disease affecting the bone marrow and white blood cells. Carol has recently begun chemotherapy through drugs she administers at home and we are waiting to see how she responds to treatment before considering other measures such as a bone marrow transplant. Carol continues to be in good spirits and is taking one day at a time.

| The Oregonian's "Band in a Box" Review |

The Oregonian Newspaper called me today and asked if in light of the upcoming Misty River & Tracy Grammer show at the Aladdin Theater, Sat. Nov. 15, 2003, would we like to take advantage of their "new" look and format of their A&E Section. I said "Yes". They said ok, I'll send you a "Band in a Box" format and you fill it out. I said "ok". So, I did.
Oregonian: "Tell us about your act in your own brilliant words. E-mail to
arts@news.oregonian.com using the above format, at least 14 days
before publication (Fridays). Listings are free; they are on a
space-available basis; and are not guaranteed. Please mail your
black-and-white photo or include your 300dpi JPEG in e-mail. Images
cannot be returned." | |
